Τέσσερις επαναλαμβανόμενοι επισκέπτες της Αγίας Νάπας από την Νορβηγία και την Ελβετία ανακηρύχθηκαν σήμερα, Τρίτη 06 Οκτωβρίου 2026, από τον Δήμαρχο κ. Χρίστο Ζαννέττου και τον Αντιδήμαρχο του Δημοτικού Διαμερίσματος Αγίας Νάπας κ. Αντώνη Χρίστου, σε «Πρέσβεις Τουρισμού της Αγίας Νάπας», σε αναγνώριση της πολυετούς και έμπρακτης αγάπης τους προς την πόλη, καθώς και της συμβολής τους στην προβολή του τουριστικού προϊόντος της Αγίας Νάπας στις χώρες τους.
Τις τιμητικές διακρίσεις έλαβαν οι Roy Edgar Bernhardt και Bjørg Harriet Elseth από την Νορβηγία, με αφορμή την 24η επίσκεψής τους στην Αγία Νάπα, καθώς και οι Christof και Marianna Hohler Kretzschmar από την Ελβετία, οι οποίοι έχουν επισκεφθεί επανειλημμένα την πόλη, πραγματοποιώντας συνολικά 62 επισκέψεις.
Στο πλαίσιο της τελετής, ο Δήμαρχος κ. Χρίστος Ζαννέττου και ο Αντιδήμαρχος κ. Αντώνης Χρίστου απένειμαν στους τέσσερις νέους τιμώμενους αναμνηστική πλακέτα και το έμβλημα του «Πρέσβη Τουρισμού της Αγίας Νάπας», εκφράζοντας τις θερμές τους ευχαριστίες για τη διαχρονική και ιδιαίτερη προτίμηση που επιδεικνύουν εδώ και πολλά χρόνια προς την πόλη.
Υπογράμμισαν, επίσης, τη σημασία των επαναλαμβανόμενων επισκεπτών για την τουριστική ανάπτυξη και τη διεθνή προβολή της πόλης, επισημαίνοντας ότι οι προσωπικές τους εμπειρίες και οι θετικές αναφορές τους αποτελούν την πιο αυθεντική μορφή προβολής ενός τουριστικού προορισμού.
Χαρακτηριστικά ανέφεραν ότι «με τις πολυάριθμες επισκέψεις σας και την έμπρακτη αγάπη που διαχρονικά επιδεικνύετε προς την πόλη μας, μεταφέρετε με τον καλύτερο και πιο πειστικό τρόπο τη μοναδικότητα της Αγίας Νάπας στις χώρες σας. Η εμπιστοσύνη που μας δείχνετε, επιστρέφοντας ξανά και ξανά στον τόπο μας, αποτελεί για εμάς ιδιαίτερη τιμή και, ταυτόχρονα, την καλύτερη επιβεβαίωση ότι η Αγία Νάπα έχει καταφέρει να δημιουργήσει μια ξεχωριστή σχέση με τους επισκέπτες της. Δικαιωματικά λοιπόν, σας ανήκει ο τίτλος του “Πρέσβη Τουρισμού της Αγίας Νάπας”.

Repeat Visitors from Norway and Switzerland honoured by the Mayor Christos Zannettou and the Vice Mayor of Agia Napa Municipal Quarter Mr Antonis Christou for their longstanding love and dedication to Agia Napa.
Four repeat visitors to Agia Napa from Norway and Switzerland were honoured today, Tuesday, 6 October 2026, by the Mayor of Agia Napa, Mr Christos Zannettou, and the Vice Mayor of the Agia Napa Municipal Quarter, Mr Antonis Christou, and were being proclaimed as «Tourism Ambassadors of Agia Napa» in recognition of their longstanding and genuine love for the town, as well as their contribution to promoting Agia Napa as a tourist destination in their respective countries.
The honorary distinctions were presented to Roy Edgar Bernhardt and Bjørg Harriet Elseth from Norway, on the occasion of their 24th visit to Agia Napa, as well as to Christof and Marianna Hohler Kretzschmar from Switzerland, who have visited the town repeatedly, making a total of 62 visits between them.
During the ceremony, Mayor Christos Zannettou and Vice Mayor Antonis Christou presented the four honourees with a commemorative plaque and the «Tourism Ambassador of Agia Napa» emblem, expressing their warmest appreciation for the longstanding and special preference they have shown for the town over the years.
They also underlined the importance of repeat visitors to the town’s tourism development and international promotion, noting that their personal experiences and positive recommendations represent the most authentic form of promotion for a tourist destination.
In particular, they stated that «through your numerous visits and the genuine love you have shown for our town over the years, you convey the uniqueness of Agia Napa to your home countries in the best and most convincing way. The trust you place in us by returning to our town time and time again is a great honour for us and, at the same time, the strongest confirmation that Agia Napa has succeeded in creating a special bond with its visitors. You therefore rightfully deserve the title of “Tourism Ambassador of Agia Napa”.
